First WordPress training for S3 students of Luweero SS
beginning of term3 2024
In 8 sessions students learnt how to install WordPress locally on their computers. Different installation options like XAMPP Server, Local WP and Online WP were tested.
Students created first Websites using different blocks/tags , they uploaded media, connected to Social Media like youtube or whatsapp and created first posts.
It was practical lesson led by ICT team of LD and students gained skills in the no. 1 web building tool WordPress.
Some students use their new competencies to build websites for different projects, schools and even customers.
